Sentosa
A resort island connected by cable car, boardwalk, or a short bus/monorail ride — beaches, Universal Studios, the S.E.A. Aquarium, and a cluster of high-end hotels. Note the separate island entry fee on top of any individual attraction.
St John's, Lazarus & Kusu
Connected by ferry from Marina South Pier, these are the quiet-beach version of an island day — closer to a genuine escape than Sentosa, with far fewer visitors and no theme-park infrastructure.
Pulau Ubin
Reached by a small bumboat from Changi Point, Ubin is closer to how Singapore looked before development — kampong houses, no cars, and mountain-bike trails through secondary forest.
